Knexusport: Delivering Medical Coordination at the Women’s Rugby World Cup
As an official partner of the Women’s Rugby World Cup, Knexusport is providing the medical infrastructure and coordination that underpins player welfare throughout the tournament.
In close collaboration with team doctors, Area Medical Officers and the Tournament Medical Director, Knexusport has led the planning and delivery of scanning and medical pathways. This work has taken months of preparation to ensure that, once the competition begins, every medical need is anticipated, every process is in place, and every team has immediate access to the services they require.
Central to this effort is the development of a comprehensive Directory of Services (DOS). This directory sets out the identified medical facilities and providers at each tournament location, giving team doctors from around the globe a single point of reference for diagnostics, treatment and urgent care. Whether for concussion assessment, imaging, or wider player management, the DOS ensures consistent standards and clarity across all venues.
All imaging is managed centrally through PACSpost, allowing team doctors to collate and compare scans quickly and securely. This not only supports rapid in-tournament decision-making but also provides continuity of care. Images can be exported back to players’ home clubs post-tournament, supporting long-term injury management and rehabilitation beyond the World Cup itself.
The result is a coordinated, transparent medical framework that prioritises player welfare. By unifying planning across doctors, medical officers, and tournament leadership, Knexusport has created a system that delivers speed, consistency and clinical excellence—ensuring the players at the heart of the Women’s Rugby World Cup are supported at every step.
