Leeds, UK – 9 June 2025
Knexu is proud to announce its appointment by Leeds Beckett University as a strategic delivery partner to support the development of a Business Delivery Plan for the University’s new Sports and Health Technology Incubator.
This pioneering incubator is set to become a regional hub for innovation, connecting emerging health and sports technologies with academic expertise and real-world application. Knexu will work closely with the university’s leadership and stakeholders to shape a robust, actionable plan that underpins the incubator’s growth and sustainability.
As part of the engagement, Knexu will lead:
Stakeholder engagement across academic, clinical, and commercial spheres
Knowledge development to inform operational and strategic direction
The creation of a clear framework for execution and delivery
Coordination with the onsite team to translate strategy into action
The final output will be a detailed, co-produced plan for delivery - enabling the university to position the incubator as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and commercialisation in the health and sports tech sectors.
Luke Minshall, Founder of Knexu, said:
“We are delighted to be working with Leeds Beckett University on this important initiative. Their vision aligns perfectly with our commitment to bridging innovation and impact in health, sport, and wellbeing. Our role is to ensure the incubator doesn’t just start well – but scales well, creating value for innovators, researchers, and the wider region.”
The work is already underway and marks a significant milestone in the university’s mission to drive enterprise and innovation through sport and health technologies.
